I did not feel the difficulty that most people talk about, since the difficulty evolved the fact you have to play it safe at first and avoid most of the rogue enemies. Prophesy of Pendor is an awesome mod in my opinion and it was my second mod after Floris. but if the player runs around the Infantry block, it can keep it in a way that the archers will destroy them all, while they try to slowly follow you as a file. It feels like the AI is much more logical. Enemy groups are organized and the death of the commander does not make them lose any and all composure and charge blindly. Like for example, Silverstag seems to have an awesome battle AI. Haven't tried v4.1 yet, but 4 resulted unplayable for me.īattle AI always has it's positives and negatives. Nova Aetas though made me realize that playing a mod that is buggy (I started as soon as v4 came one) it can end with a borked game.
